During our unit this term you are going to answer a number of key questions about Australian immigration.
In this website you are going to focus on just a few:

• Why do people choose to leave their native country?
• What difficulties do migrants face?
• How have some cultures been deterred or barred from emigrating to Australia?
• What immigration waves has Australia experienced?
• Reflection

In order to do this you will need to look at a number of websites and fill in a data chart.
Go to the bottom of the screen to download it. Save it to your folder so you can have it open at the same time as the internet.
Sometimes you will have to answer questions exactly.Sometimes you will visit other sites and be able to choose what to look at.

If you get stuck you could :

• Reread the question and have a really good think about it
• Ask a friend
• Ask your teacher IF SHE’S NOT TEACHING
• Go on to another section and come back to the bit that’s got you stumped!
